After a distinguished global career in the oil and gas industry, Bob Harvey has proudly called Montgomery County home for nearly 18 years.

Born and raised in a politically involved family in California, Bob learned the value of hard work and public service from a young age. Those early lessons inspired a lifetime of leadership, community involvement, and a deep belief in the importance of faith, family, and freedom.

Bob’s prominent career in the oil and gas industry saw him lead major international projects and manage substantial operational budgets. He represented the industry at global conferences, worked closely with government ministries and ambassadors, and contributed to setting world records in Extended Reach Drilling and safety performance.

Today, Bob is running for Montgomery County Commissioner, Precinct 2, to restore integrity, transparency, and accountability in local government. He believes Precinct 2 deserves leadership that listens, plans, and delivers – bringing responsible budgeting, smarter infrastructure planning, and a commitment to serving people over politics.

Bob and his wife, Amy, have been married for 20 years and are deeply involved in the Montgomery County community they love.
